Born in Quebec, Canada in 1961, at a very young
age, his sensibility permitted him to hear painting, to see music,
and to taste life with an artistic manner.
Martin Beau Pré is a stylist hairdresser, artist, and teacher
of modern art and intuitive. In 1995, he founded «Médit’art»
work groups where he gives a class of painting in relation to our
emotive world. His painting is characterized by sets of themes inspired
from Asian culture. His work display alternatively ardent and soft
brush strokes, an esthetic sense and balance which evoke beauty
internal if not external, in his representations of Asian faces
emanating peace, serenity and harmony. Of the same influence, he
paints also landscapes, Buddhas, plays with Zenga Sanskrit style
characters and creates textures you want to caress. He works with
acrylics, oils, ink, modeling paste and sand. His colors meld in
transparency and light, his subjects bring calm and reflexion.
EXHIBITIONS:
Since 1995, Beau Pré has participated in many solo and group
exhibitions in Québec, Montréal and Vancouver in Canada,
St-Barthélémy in the French West Indies, Florida,
Pittsburgh and Chicago in the USA.
COLLECTIONS:
Beau Pré’s work prevails in private and corporate collections
in Canada and the USA. Corporate collections include Les jardins
du Portage, Trans-Herb and Jin Di International.
